What is Luminous?

Luminous is an online store located in Stockton, CA. We offer a large variety of colored circle lenses. 

Do you carry prescription lenses?
We have a small amount of prescription lenses ready to ship in our In Stock Prescription album. Our Bella brand can be preordered in prescription directly in our Bella Eye album. To request a specific prescription for a lens from our Sweety+ brand, please e-mail the style/color and prescription needed to [email protected]

Do you carry toric lenses for astigmatism?
Not at this time.

Is the product price for one pair or for one lens?
The price given on the website is for one pair (one left, one right).

What are you lenses made from? Are they safe to wear?
The lenses are made from polymacon/ polyhema and water. The percentage of water content is usually 38% or 42%. Yes, circle lenses are generally safe and are approved by Korean FDA. But precaution is always needed. Please ensure that you are following the Wear and Care guide.

How long do your lenses last?
The vial or blister pack must be opened before the expiration date listed on the package. The lenses last up to one year after the vial or blister pack is opened, though we recommend replacing the lenses within 6-8 months if you wear them frequently.

What methods of payment do you accept?
Concealed cash, money order, PayPal, debit, or credit. Contact [email protected] if you have any questions or would like to pay via concealed cash or money order.

Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
Yes, we ship worldwide.

What is the difference between an in-stock, in-transit, and preorder item?
In-stock means we have the item on hand and will ship within 1-3 business days of receiving payment. 
In-transit means the item is NOT yet in stock but has been ordered from our supplier. The item is currently in transit to us, and will take 1-4 weeks from the day we placed our order with our supplier. We will process and ship your order to you within 1-3 business days after the items arrive.
Preorder means the item needs to be ordered with our supplier. We submit preorders on the 15th of every month, and they take 1-4 weeks for us to receive from the 15th. We will process and ship your order to you within 1-3 business days after the items arrive.

How long will it take to receive my order, and what are your shipping rates?
For in-stock items, or once in-transit/preorder items have arrived into stock, we will ship within 1-3 business days.
If your order includes a mix of in-stock and in-transit/preorder items, we will contact you to ask if you want to have them all ship together, or if you want to pay an extra shipping fee to have multiple shipments. If we don't receive a reply, the default will be to ship all items together in one package once all items have arrived into stock.
USPS First Class Mail (US & Guam; $4.00 flat rate) will take appx. 1-5 business days. USPS Priority Mail (US & Guam; $8.50 flat rate) will take appx. 1-3 business days.
First Class International Mail ($11 flat rate to Canada; $15 flat rate to everywhere else) will take appx. 1-10 business days.

How do I track my order?
We will e-mail you a shipping confirmation containing your USPS tracking number. You can go to usps.com and use the number to track your package.
Please allow 1-2 days for USPS to update.
We are NOT responsible for lost or stolen packages in cases where USPS shows the item was successfully delivered.
If a package is returned to us due to an insufficient address given on the order, the customer will need to pay an extra shipping fee for us to reship out the package. 

Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your order after payment is made for any reason, please inform us immediately.
NO refunds will be given once the order has been shipped, unless the item is proven defective or damaged.
Preorders are also NON-refundable once we submit them to our supplier on the 15th of every month.

What is this store's return and exchange policy?
Once an item has shipped, the item can no longer be returned or exchanged, UNLESS it is damaged or defective. Examples of damage/defects include:
- The vials/blister packets cracked or broke during shipment. 
- There is a cut, tear, or hole in the lens. 
- Lens has an odd shape/size.
If you have a damaged/defective item, please send a photo of the damage/defect to [email protected] for our review. We can then proceed with a refund or replacement.

What if the lenses don't fit properly?
It is the customer's responsibility to get their eyes measured before purchasing any lenses, to make sure they are purchasing the correct diameter and base curve to fit their eyes. We will not be responsible if the customer purchases the wrong size and the lenses do not fit (if both lenses do not stay in place, constantly move around in the eye, and come out easily).

What if I don't like how the lenses look on me?
All eyes (sizing and natural eye color) are different, and we do our best to post model and customer photos to show how the lens style and color MAY look on your eyes. We cannot guarantee that the lens will look the same on your eyes or that they will produce the desired amount of color. Purchasing colored lenses are based on trial and error, and if you are unhappy with the way the lenses look on you, you will just need to try purchasing a different pair. Refunds or exchanges will not be provided as these are final sale items.

The customer agrees that we will not be liable for any loss of profits or incidental, indirect, special, and consequential or punitive damages of whatsoever kind arising from the purchased services or items in the terms of this agreement. 
You acknowledge and agree that it is your sole responsibility to ensure that you are fully informed of, and understand any and all risks associated with the services or item purchased.
